How much does it cost to make a music video?

With us: as little as £97.  We can’t promise you will find it cheaper anywhere else though.  Most people would charge several thousand for a video plus a music track.

Do you record the track as well?

Yes!  We can record the music track as well as film the video.  Basically, we can do everything for you.

Do I need to make both a music video and a track?

No, not necessarily. Should you want a video for a pre-exisiting track or just want to produce a song with us, that's absolutely fine! Although we would recommend both in order to get the best engagement out of your fans and viewers upon your release.

How about promoting it?

Once we have created your music video, we will even tell you how to market it effectively.  We even do workshops on how to market yourself effectively in today’s music industry.

Do you travel?

Yes!  We are fully portable.  We can even record the track and film the video in the comfort of your own living room if you wanted to.

Do you charge for expenses?

If you come to us, no; if we come to you yes: we charge travel expenses and, if we need stay overnight, accommodation expenses too.

Can I record someone else’s song?

Yes: that’s fine.

​

Can I record an original song?

Yes: that’s fine too.

​

What if I can’t play my song?

That’s fine.  We are very experienced musicians and can play it for you.  Even if you don’t know the chords, we can work everything out!  All we need are the words and melody.

Can you write a song for me?

Yes: we can write songs for you, either for a small one-off fee or for a percentage of record sales, depending upon the project.  If you would like this service, just get in touch and we can discuss your needs.

Can I get this as a gift for my son or daughter?

Absolutely!  We specialize in experience days.  If you want it to be a surprise, simply book a day with us and let us do the rest!

How long does it take?

A basic track with a basic video will take less than a day.  A more complex track with backing instruments and vocals and a music video filmed at multiple locations can take up to a few weeks.

If it’s so cheap, won’t the quality be cheap as well?

Absolutely not!  The beauty of our product is it’s high-quality AND super cheap.  The money saving is made because we are efficient at what we do.  The quality is maintained to a high standard because we are also good at what we do.

Where are you based?

Weymouth, Dorset, England… but we’re happy to travel anywhere in the world if our expenses are paid.

Do I need any previous experience?

None!  All you need is to be able to sing the song you want to record and we can do all the rest.

What if I’m not very good at coming up with ideas for videos?

Not a problem.  That’s what we do!  We are very happy to think up the ideas for your music video for you.  We are also very happy for you to tell us what you want.

Do I have a say in what we do?

Of course!  We are friendly and very easy to work with.  We will make your video and recording to your taste and satisfaction.

Can I get it cheaper anywhere else?

Not that we know of!  We don’t think there is anyone else out there doing videos to the same standard as cheaply as we are doing them.  You may be able to persuade your mate to do it for free, but will they be any good – and will they be able to do the music, videoing and marketing like we can?

Is there anyone better than you?

At our price point, no – we don’t think there is.  You could hire Beyonce’s music producer, but it might cost you a small fortune.

Do I have to have written my own song?

No: you can record a cover or you can ask us to write a song for you.

​

Do I need to bring my own clothes?

Yes: you decide how you want to look on the music video, but we are very happy to offer advice too.

​

Do you do hair and make-up?

Most artists like to do that for themselves but, if you want advice, we are happy to give it.  If it’s a more expensive shoot, we can contract people in to do this for you if you prefer.

​

Who provides the backing track?

We can create the backing track for you.  However, if you would like to provide your own, the recording will only cost the same as the ‘Acoustic’ package.

​

Can I bring a friend?

Yes: by all means.  Bring whoever you like for moral support.  In fact, if you are under 18, we advise a guardian attends with you.  Safeguarding youngsters in the music business is of great importance to us.

Do I need to bring lunch?

Yes: it’s advisable to bring a packed lunch to make the most of your time.

​

Can it be a duet or group for the same price?

Yes: a duet will cost the same as a solo singer.

​

Can you accommodate bands?

Absolutely!  We have the capability to record a full live band.  The price of recording a live band will come under the ‘full backing track’ package.  Depending upon the size of the band, we may need to charge an additional cost to hire a larger room for the day.

Do you offer a group discount?

Possibly.  Just give us a ring and we’ll discuss it.

How can I trust this is legit?

Do you do a discount if I book multiple sessions?

Yes: we run special offers if you book multiple sessions.  The amount of discount will depend upon what you plan to do.

Can I stay over?

There are plenty of hotels and guest houses in Weymouth, ranging from cheap and cheerful to posh and pricey.  If you need help finding somewhere, just let us know and we would be happy to help.

How big of a production can we make?

As big as you want, if you’ve got the budget.  We can organise everything for you and bring in expertise in multiple areas as and when required.

Can you make me famous?

There’s no guarantee, but the people we have worked with in the past seem to have done remarkable well – many of them are now professional performers and living their dream. It comes down to a combination of talent and hard work on the part of the artist combined with production skill and promotional knowledge on our part.  If you bring those elements together successfully, there is a very good chance you will make a living at it with the potential to go all the way.  We can’t suddenly phone up Simon Cowell and make you famous over night, however we can teach you how to manage your own career in a way that will get you noticed and enable you to progress to the next level.

Do you have good connections within the music industry?

A few.  We know many excellent music and video producers all over the UK and have worked with multiple famous people.

What qualifies you to do this?

David has studied music since the age of 14 and has been a professional performer and music producer for over 20 years.  In that time, he has been on TV, has produced several touring theatre shows and has helped artists to get record deals, careers in the West End and has even mentored a magician who has broken five world records and travels all over the world.  He has also been a teacher and has extensive training in marketing and sales.  Combining all these skills, he is perfectly placed not only to help young people develop their talent but also how to promote themselves effectively to go on and lead very successful careers.  Adam has a degree in film-making, specializes in making music videos and his work has been recognized by several successful producers.
